On Saturday, Virginia Kate and I went to a few houses to take some pictures for work. Virginia Kate especially liked this one so I had to snap a picture of her!

Sunday Funday
I am a little behind with my blogging, but last Sunday's Funday was Father's Day. Miss Mary Porter Thornhill was baptized so we headed to the Methodist Church in Clanton to see this very special event. It was nice spending some time with the Thornhills at their church and home. Virginia Kate tried her first ever potato salad and baked beans. She preferred the baked beans. So sorry for this being late, but Happy Father's Day!

Is this YOUR bed?
Here is my spoiled little dog, Lil' Bill. He uses our bed as his own. This reminds me of a picture that Leigh Anne sent me of a dog in a bed that said "Oh, this is YOUR bed?" lol

Getting Comfy
There is a way on my camera to fade out the bars so they aren't the only thing you see in the picture, but if they were faded out, you wouldn't see the point of this picture. We will walk in some mornings or after we put her down for a nap and VK will be in the most interesting of positions. Here is the leg through the "bar" sleep position. ;)
Fudge Pop
I usually don't let Virginia Kate eat much other than her normal baby food or soft table foods, but as I was eating a Healthy Choice Fudge Pop and Virginia Kate was eyeing me, I decided to give her a taste. Most of it got on her face, rather than in her mouth, but with her teething the cold sure felt good on her gums.
Yummy!
Give me more!!!

Sunday Funday
This Sunday we enjoyed a wonderful service at church. Charles McCartha sang Poor Wayfaring Stranger and it was awesome! Reverand Barkelow did a great job on his sermon. It was very moving! It was a great start to our Sunday.
After church, Beverly and CJ came to eat breakfast with us. We had all of the "fixins'" -- grits, eggs (made to order), pancakes, and bacon! It was delicious and the company was good. We filled our bellies so much though it was time for a nap and we skipped lunch. We also had fun with Bill. (See Pictures Below.)
Later that afternoon, we went and enjoyed an early dinner (we joked that we could get the senior citizens' special) at 1220 Cafe. We also had some frozen custard (it was yummy!!)!
Wonder what this week's Sunday Funday will hold?
Happy Birthday, Pop Pop!
Pop Pop (Joey's Daddy)'s birthday was Saturday, June 9th. We had Pop Pop, Nana, Marshall, Mary Porter, Beth and Byron over for steaks. Joey did a wonderful job of catering. ;) Here are some pictures from that night. (Marshall especially enjoyed the chocolate pie!)

Tallassee Now! 2012
The Tallassee Now! event was held this past weekend. There were so many great events going on that day, but we weren't able to go to each one. I helped with the real estate agents' booth in the morning. Virginia Kate and I strolled through the park for arts in the park. (We even got her an Auburn and an Alabama bow...we try to be fair here. lol) Then we took the dam tour. It was very nice. We got some barbecue to go and chowed down on it!

Downtown Tallassee
I brought my camera to work on Friday so that I could take some pictures for Tallassee Times. I thought since I had the camera, I would take some photos of downtown.
