Caught Up - Finally

Ok blog readers, I think I have finally caught you up on our life as told in pictures. Virginia Kate will be 7 months old next week and the time has just flown by. I can't believe her 1 year birthday is quickly approaching.

Joey and I just celebrated our 3rd anniversary (he says it feels like the 20th - hahaha!) on April 25, 2012.  It is hard to believe that we've been dating since 2004 (wow, been together for 8 years!).

I started looking through some older pictures and saw these taken on today's date 3 years ago. We were on our honeymoon. We began in Venice, Italy (traveling to Florence, Italy while staying in Venice) and we were on the last part of our trip in these pictures, in beautiful Nice, France. Let me tell you, the scenery here is beyond gorgeous. And we had the best pizza (yes, I said pizza) here in Nice. I hope that one day we are able to revisit this gorgeous place!

We were riding a tour bus.

PHOTO BOMBED!!!!!!!!!

Hotel Negresco - We had the perfect view of this famous hotel from our hotel. We actually bought a painting of this view. (I still need to frame! Doh!)

Enjoying the Roses

Virginia Kate loves flowers. We planted rose bushes out back last year and they have bloomed beautifully.

Easter Pictures

We attended the Sunrise service at First United Methodist Church of Tallassee on Easter Sunday. We took a few pictures afterwards.  Lil' Bill had to get in the family portrait. :)

"Do not be amazed; you are looking for Jesus the Nazarene, who has been crucified. He has risen; He is not here; behold, here is the place where they laid Him." Mark 16:6

Happy Easter from the Scarboroughs!
The Easter Bunny brought VK some bath toys, an Easter bucket filled with goodies, clothes, a Dr. Seuss Book, and a Bumbo play tray.

SOLID FOODS

Virginia Kate's first solid food was carrots. She liked them okay for the first couple of times, but they don't hold a candle to bananas in her opinion.

New Stone Realty, L.L.C.

On March 1, 2012, we held an open house at my (Kami)'s new office, New Stone Realty, L.L.C. I completed my broker's course last Summer and decided to open my own real estate office here in Tallassee.  We actually opened the office about a week before Virginia Kate's arrival, but didn't have the open house until March 1 so that she could enjoy it with us.  Special Thanks to Joey for helping me get this all together.  Thanks to Joey's parents and sister for allowing me to be in their building and thanks to Leigh Anne for making it look beautiful.

Virginia Kate's Baptism - February 26, 2012

Virginia Kate was baptized on February 26, 2012.

The Whole Gang

Memaw took our picture before Joey and I headed to the annual Chamber of Commerce banquet.

I Like to Travel!

I took my second road trip ever to Savannah in late January. Mommy, Daddy, and Mr. (Lil') Shep went with me. Daddy and Mr. Shep went on to Hilton Head while Mommy and I stayed in Savannah with Aunt Alex. I got a little off schedule while I was there so I hope Aunt Alex didn't lose too much sleep. (I think she enjoyed it though!)  We had so much fun and I loved looking at the trees while mommy strolled me through the parks. I'll be visiting Savannah again soon!  - VK (If VK could talk and type...)

Sleeping Beauty

Awww, we love to watch Virginia Kate sleeping. She looks so cute in this outfit that Georgia Anne used to wear. She has changed so much over the past 7 months. She is about 3 months old here.

Bundled Up!

Virginia Kate said that she felt like the little boy off of A Christmas Story!

Hello 2012! Virginia Kate, Joey and I welcomed 2012 from Ft. Morgan, Alabama! VK liked the beach!

Christmas at the Scarboroughs

If you have been following our blog, you know that we are a wee bit behind on posting. Virginia Kate's 1st Christmas was a blast! She was beginning to get her own personality and it was fun having her around.  In early December we went to a Tea Room for my mom's birthday and VK was able to meet Mrs. Claus and one of her elves.  We also had a Christmas Eve breakfast at our house so VK was able to visit with everyone. For VK's first Christmas, Santa brought her a high chair and walker.  Joey & I received the best Christmas present ever, pictured below. :)
