Sunday Funday

This weekend, I bought an inflatable pool, beach ball sprinkler, and Joey purchased an umbrella. Joey also found some tarps for a makeshift Slip 'N Slide. I thought it would be nice for Virginia Kate and I to get out and enjoy the warm weather before it gets to miserable here in Alabama. On Sunday, Joey cooked Frogmore Soup (Low Country Boil).  It was so good!!  We had Aunt Ashley and Uncle Brad and Aunt Christy and Uncle Jeremy and Alora over. We had fun enjoying the, as I like to call it, "Redneck Water Park".

New Camera

Okay, I have convinced myself that I am now going to be a professional photographer (wink, wink).  Joey can read my mind like no other. It sometimes amazes me how we literally think the same thoughts.  On the car drive over to Savannah, it dawned on me, I would really like to have a camera that has a lot of features and takes great pictures (more than my handheld digital one that I have now). So I mentioned this to him and come to find out, he had already been looking at cameras for me.  Luckily, I had an upcoming birthday (I turned 25 yesterday...wink, wink again).  I've only had the camera for a day, but I'm already absolutely in love with it (although I still have so much to learn!!).  Here are a few photos I caught on camera yesterday.  I am impressed with myself.
